Under the Commonwealth Government School Languages Program and National Asian Languages and Studies in Schools Program (NALSSP), applications are invited each year for grants to independent schools to undertake programs in their schools that will improve the learning outcomes of students who are learning languages other than English.

Assessment of Applications

All applications are assessed by an external panel which makes recommendations to the AIS Board.
