The AIS manages a number of government programs on behalf of all independent schools in NSW. The administration of these programs is a significant part of the AIS service to independent schools as it enables the tailoring of services to meet the needs of individual schools and the provision of courses and other professional services sought by schools and their employees.

In administering the programs on behalf of schools, the AIS ensures equity of access to funded programs for all schools and endeavours to maximise the outcomes of the programs through excellence in support practices.
