  • School Communities Working Together - an awareness package for NSW schools

    ​In November 2015, NSW Premier Mike Baird announced a support package to assist all NSW schools in countering anti-social and extremist behaviour. As part of this support package a range of initiatives designed to build community cohesion and maintain cultural harmony have been introduced.

    Phase 2 grants now available

    The NSW Government has announced the next phase of the $20 million Before and After School Care Fund to help deliver up to 45,000 additional OSHC places. NSW schools and local councils may apply for grants under the Fund which will now also be available to schools wishing to expand existing OSHC services.​
