The AIS Education Research Project provides opportunities for independent schools to undertake, access and utilise education research in their practice. Grounding education in evidence-based practice is an essential feature of assuring and enhancing educational excellence.
To assist in overseeing the development and implementation of this project an AIS Education Research Council has been formed. The Council is comprised of a number of Heads and senior staff from a wide range of independent schools and AIS executive staff.
The AIS Education Research Project has several components:
- Funding School Based Research,
- Disseminating Research Findings, and
- Fostering Collaborations and Networks.
