The AIS STEM Project motivates outstanding levels of participation, enjoyment, engagement, and achievement in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
Encouraging scientific enquiry, technological innovation, engineering ingenuity and mathematical rigour, a key feature is Project Based Learning, ensuring that contextual teaching and learning can happen with mindful and practical application from K-12.
While industry and international research informs our priorities, we respond to engineering and technical challenges; international tinker, maker and gaming movements; and initiatives to share research, resources and funding that support this exciting initiative.
As with many of our human endeavours, we note that application and achievement needs to be grounded in its social and environmental context. Finally, an appreciation of the Arts puts the steAm in STEM.
