 The NSW Institute of Teachers (NSWIT)

The NSWIT is responsible for the accreditation of teachers at the levels of:
  • Professional Competence
  • Professional Accomplishment
  • Professional Leadership
The NSWIT has authorised AISNSW to be the Teacher Accreditation Authority (TAA) for teachers applying for accreditation at the higher levels of Professional Accomplishment and Professional Leadership.

  • Intention to Submit Form 1st closing date
    If an applicant is planning on submitting their evidence for review by the first closing date in 2012: Friday 30 March 2012, the Intention to Submit form needs to be received by ISTAA no later than Friday 2 March 2012

    ​Before an applicant decides to submit their evidence for review by AISNSW, confirmation of an applicant's intention to submit is required. This is to ensure AISNSW is informed in advance and the appropriate reviewers can be organised. Please be aware that the following notificationdate applis:

    If an applicant is planning on submitting their evidence for review by the first closing date in 2012: Friday 30 March 2012, the Intention to Submit form needs to be received by ISTAA no later than Friday 2 March 2012.

    If applicant is planning on submitting their evidence for review by the second date in 2012: Friday 14 September 2012, the Intention to Submit form needs to be received by ISTAA no later than Friday 22 June 2012.
