An independent committee known as the Independent Schools Capital Grants Committee (ISCGC) has been established to assess capital applications and recommend applications for grant assistance to the Australian Government Minister.

The current membership of the committee is:

• Marybeth Bartholemew - former bursar of an independent school
• Dean Bennetts - principal of an independent school
• Philip Bryson - former principal of an independent school
• Les Dell - chartered accountant and financial consultant
• Robert Johnston - former principal of an independent school
• Yvonne Nicholls - business manager of an independent school
• Andrew Pender - architect
• Sue Pynenburg - business manger of an independent school
• John Scott - former principal of an independent school
• Colin Spencer - chartered accountant
• Recep Aydogan - business manager of an independent school
• Warwick Wilkie - former principal of an independent school
• Peter Reed - architect
• Bob Grant - former principal of an independent school
• Ray Whitfield - former AIS director (Chairman)
• David Buley - Executive Officer AIS BGA
