NEW GRANTS and SUBSIDIES
AIS NSW is offering a new range of grants and subsidies in 2010. Check the Languages Program Grants link (pink column on this page) regularly as announcements will appear throughout the year.  
International Mother Language Day
International Mother Language Day on 21 Feb 2010 provides an opportunity to celebrate the values of linguistic diversity and the importance of multilingual education. Use this day to recognise the importance of language and literacy – and why not as a "curtain raiser" for Harmony Day in March?  
MLTA Short Film Competition 2010
Three categories (Yrs 5/6, Years 7/8, Years 9/10), one theme 'A farewell', one object 'a box of cereals'. See what your students come up with as they write the script and get around the camera for this very popular 2-minute film competition in any language.
