The conference highlighted ways that teachers can effectively meet and exceed the demands of their multi-faceted roles in schools, specifically in relation to their responsibilities for curriculum delivery and co-curricular programs. Throughout the conference teachers explored strategies and skills that can help them to maximise their capacity to teach and coach for high performance.
Presenters included Chris Wardlaw (Education Consultant and High Performance Track and Field Coach), Stan Browne (Board of Studies), Greg Forrest (University of Wollongong), Tracy Tresidder (Consultant and Coach), Paul Wade (Sports Presenter and former Socceroos’ Captain) and AIS Consultants Darryl Buchanan, Jo McLean and John Clear.
