The Evidence Institute invites you to submit an abstract for our 2024 Education Research Symposium, which will be held 24-25 October at Australian Catholic University, North Sydney.
Take this opportunity to showcase your research, insights, and experiences at the forefront of evidence-enriched education. This symposium is your platform to contribute to the ongoing dialogue surrounding research's profound impact on student outcomes, pedagogy, leadership, wellbeing, and the broader school community. As educational practices evolve, it is imperative we continue to examine and adapt these practices to ensure they remain contextually relevant for schools and students.
Our intention is to highlight the multifaceted ways research can improve the ways schools operate and elevate student outcomes. We welcome abstract submissions from individuals or groups engaged in school-based research, encompassing a diverse range of topics and methodologies. Whether you are exploring innovative pedagogical approaches, transformative leadership strategies, or holistic student wellbeing initiatives, your insights are invaluable to the Independent sector’s collective pursuit of excellence in education.
This year’s Symposium aims to provide school leaders and teachers with a variety of examples about how research can inform practice in education.
We invite teachers and leaders in schools, as well as academics, HDR students and other researchers to submit an abstract of up to 300 words. Abstracts should address the theme of research informing practice in areas related to school education.
