Keynote Presenter: Professor Bill Lucas

Bill Lucas is Professor of Learning and Director of the Centre for Real-World Learning at the University of Winchester (UK). In 2020 Bill co-founded Rethinking Assessment, is a member of the United Kingdon’s independent commission on primary assessment and is co-chair of PISA 2022 Test of Creative Thinking. Bill is known for his research into learning, creativity, assessment, and leadership. He is a prolific, award-winning writer and has authored over forty books and chapters and many peer-reviewed papers.

Keynote Presenter: Dr Simon Breakspear

Dr. Simon Breakspear is a researcher, advisor, and speaker on educational leadership, policy, and change. He is the Executive Director of the global consultancy Agile Schools, and Visiting Fellow at the University of New South Wales, Gonski Institute for Education. Simon’s educational frameworks and tools make complex ideas easier to understand and act on. His speaking and advisory work have given him the opportunity to work with over 100,000 educators across 10 countries.

Keynote Presenter: Dr Deborah Netolicky

Dr Deborah Netolicky has more than 20 years of experience teaching and leading in independent schools in Australia and England. She is currently Head of Teaching and Learning (K-12) at St Mark’s Anglican Community School, Honorary Research Associate at Murdoch University, Chair of a local primary school board, and member of national and international education advisory committees.

Keynote Presenter: Paul Martin

Paul Martin is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NESA. Paul was appointed as NESA CEO in December 2019, after acting in the role since February 2019. Before being appointed as CEO, Paul was the Executive Director, Quality Teaching at NESA and before that, the Manager of Professional Learning and Initial Teacher Education at the former NSW Institute of Teachers (NSWIT).
