25/02/2020 Limited exemption travel for Years 11 and 12 international students from China
The Australian Government has extended the travel ban from China, for anyone other than Australian residents, for another week.
However, the government has announced in a media release a limited exemption from the travel ban for Years 11 and 12 international students from mainland China.
It is critical that the process enabling the international students to return to Australia is consistent with measures in place to control the spread of coronavirus.
The NSW Government is working with the Australian Government to implement these arrangements. AISNSW is collaborating with the NSW departments of health and education, and other schooling sectors, to assist with a process to enable these students to safely return to school in Australia.
