Professional learning opportunities are being offered at no cost to support NSW independent schools with the new online NCCD Guidelines.

The 2019 Nationally Consistent Collection of Data for School Students with Disability (NCCD) Guidelines are available on the NCCD Portal with additional professional learning sessions to support schools with the process.

Since 1 January 2018, the NCCD has been used to calculate the student with disability loading in recurrent funding for schools provided by the Australian Government. This loading is based on the level of adjustment being provided to the student. The guidelines provide information to assist schools to understand and complete the NCCD.

To support schools further with this process, AISNSW is offering at no cost full day professional learning sessions and moderation workshops:

The data for the NCCD is submitted to the Department of Education and Training as at the reference date. In 2019, the reference date is Friday, 2 August.

Should you have any questions about the NCCD please do not hesitate to contact a member of the AISNSW Student Services team by calling 02 9299 2845.
