Schools are reminded of two important resources to support whole school wellbeing and the PDHPE curriculum.

Safer Internet Day 2020

This year’s Safer Internet Day run by the eSafety Commissioner will be held on Tuesday, 11 February (Week 3, Term 1 ). Resources can be accessed and downloaded here.

Schools are encouraged to have ongoing conversations with teachers, students and families about ways to improve online safety. The downloadable resources in the promotion kit include newsletter articles, posters and resources for use in the classroom and student wellbeing time. By registering for the day, schools are demonstrating a proactive, ongoing whole-school approach to online safety.

In addition to Safety Internet Day, schools are encouraged to access and share the new eSafety website that includes resources for children, young people, school staff and parents.
