Expressions of interest to be a member of an ISTAA Experienced Teacher Assessment Panel are now open, closing on 12 August 2022. The panel will be held Monday 26 September to Friday 30 September 2022, (during the first week of the school holidays).
ISTAA is seeking teachers who are accredited at Band 3 or above to be assessors for Experienced Teacher Standard Pathway and Experienced Teacher Inquiry Pathway submissions, as well as Senior Assessors for Early Childhood, Primary, Special Education and Secondary KLAs. The panel will be held online, and ongoing support and training will be provided. Senior Assessors are required to attend the AISNSW offices in York St, Sydney each day.
Participants in previous panels have found the experience to be rewarding and valuable professional learning. Participation in an ISTAA Assessment Panel may be used as hours for Elective PD for the purpose of maintaining Proficient, Highly Accomplished or Lead Teacher accreditation.
