Simple primary Mathematics activities and equipment for K-6 students to use when learning from home.
Primary Mathematics teachers are aware of the importance of using concrete and visual materials when introducing new maths concepts.
The Education Endowment Foundation in the UK has consistently identified the use of concrete and visual materials as a key consideration to improve student outcomes across Kindergarten to Year 6.
As the possibility of remote learning becomes a reality, teachers are seeking practical resources students need to access at home to continue their mathematics learning. Teachers may wish to consider making a Maths pack of resources that can be sent home to support students, particularly in Kindergarten to Year 2. Preparing useful packs enables students to continue to access resources to support their learning.
