Prime Minister’s Prize for Science (Mathematics and Technology) Nominations now open
The 2018 Prime Minister’s Prize for Science is now open for nominations (until 5.00pm (AEDT) 26th March 2018) with some exciting changes. In 2018, the Prime Minister’s Prizes for Excellence in Science Teaching are open to nominations of mathematics and technology teachers for the first time. Part-time teachers are also eligible to nominate.
There are two teaching prizes:
- $50,000 Prime Minister's Prize for Excellence in Science Teaching in Secondary Schools
- $50,000 Prime Minister's Prize for Excellence in Science Teaching in Primary Schools.

Current funding opportunities:
The Association for Learning Environments Australasia (LEA) NSW Chapter are currently offering Grants for a maximum of $5,000 each, to be used to develop and enhance a teaching and learning area within an existing Learning Environment. The Grant is open to all LEA* Members and non-members, alike. Applications will be accepted from any Learning Environment in New South Wales. Submissions required by 30 March 2018.
