Put together for educators by educators, the Learning from Home portal has been designed to support schools to deliver quality teaching and learning to meet the diverse learning needs of all students in all environments.

The AISNSW Learning from Home portal provides up to date information, advice and resources for K-12 school communities who are transitioning their class delivery to a learning-from-home environment.

The Learning from Home portal is designed as a resource for all schools, irrespective of their experience in delivering learning online or in the distance education model.

With AISNSW uniquely positioned to understand the diversity of school communities, the portal aims to reach the breadth and depth of K-12 education needs.

The Learning from Home portal has curated useful articles, teaching models, tools, programs, interviews and links from Australia's school leaders, teachers, and education specialists.

It is designed as a resource for all schools, irrespective of their experience in delivering learning online or in the distance education model.

The portal is sectioned into four easy to navigate categories:

  • Procedures
  • Pedagogy
  • Technology
  • Wellbeing.

Under each category can be found resources, links and information that AISNSW consultants and NSW independent schools have shared.

Other information and resources have been recommended by principals, executives, heads of department and teachers who use them in their classrooms daily.

The portal will be populated continually with new material over the coming months to provide a valuable library of quality teaching and learning resources for the online or distance learning environment.

If you are a NSW independent school principal or qualified teacher and have a resource you feel is suitable to share, please email Learning from Home.
