The Harmony Day Poster and Song Writing Competition is the brainchild of Moving Forward Together, a social initiative committed to creating a better understanding among all sectors of the community for a vision of living in harmony.

An awards ceremony was recently held at NSW Parliament House. The competition is open to all school sectors. While not all schools participate, many independent schools from diverse national, ethnic and religious backgrounds take part to acknowledge and celebrate the principles of fairness, harmony and respect.
