NESA Draft Syllabus Feedback Monday 26 February – Monday 11 March 2024

During this period, the following second draft syllabuses will be available for public consultation.

• K–6: Creative Arts, HSIE, PDHPE, Science and Technology
• 7–10: Geography, History, PDHPE, Visual Arts

New Science 7-10, Technology 7-8 and Auslan K-10 Syllabuses

In late 2023, NESA announced the release of new syllabuses for:

• Science and Science Life Skills 7-10
• Technology and Technology Life Skills 7-8
• Auslan K-10

Schools can plan and prepare to teach these new syllabuses in 2024 and 2025. The new syllabuses will be taught in NSW schools from 2026.

• Aboriginal Studies 7–10
• Commerce 7–10

Continued Professional Learning for all revised syllabuses released since the commencement of the Curriculum Reform

After consulting directly with leaders and teachers across our sector, AISNSW has prepared a significant program of professional learning offerings to support ongoing planning and programming with these syllabuses. These will be offered in a variety of formats, such as face-to-face, blended and online self-paced modes. For further details of all courses, we have prepared flyers with individual course hyperlinks.
