Use of this site
The Association of Independent Schools of New South Wales Limited (AISNSW) is the owner and operator of this Site. Users of this Site (Users) agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, which are subject to change at AISNSW’s sole discretion. Your use of and access to this Site indicates your acceptance of these Terms & Conditions, as they exist at that time.

General Prohibitions
You must not use this site, or any tools offered through this site, in a manner which; or up-load, post, transmit or otherwise make available through this site any material which:
(a) Violates or infringes the rights of others (including their intellectual property, privacy and publicity rights);
(b) Is unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, invasive of privacy, vulgar, obscene, profane or which may harass or cause distress or inconvenience to, or incite hatred of, any person;
(c) Encourages conduct that would constitute a criminal offence, give rise to civil liability or otherwise violate any law;
(d) Restricts or inhibits any other user from using or enjoying this site;
(e) Affects the functionality or operation of this site or its servers or the functionality or operation of any user’s computer systems (for example, by transmitting a computer virus or other harmful component, whether or not knowingly); or
(f) Breaches any standards, content requirements or codes promulgated by any relevant authority, including authorities which require us to take remedial action under any applicable industry code.

AISNSW May Change These Terms and Conditions
AISNSW may, in its absolute discretion modify or amend the terms and conditions upon which services are supplied to you including these terms of use and such modifications will be binding upon you once displayed on this web site. You should regularly check the terms and conditions displayed on this web site.

What Law Governs these Terms and Conditions?
This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New South Wales, Australia and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that State.


Intellectual Property
All intellectual property in relation to content on this Site belongs to AISNSW or its licensors or affiliates. You obtain no interest in that intellectual property. All content on this Site is protected by Australian and international copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not do anything which interferes with or breaches those laws or the intellectual property rights in the content.

You may download and view content or print a copy of material on this Site for educational, non-commercial use provided you do not modify the content in any way (including any copyright notice). All rights not expressly granted under these terms of use are reserved by AISNSW.


Links and Third Party Materials
This website may provide links to other websites that are not owned or controlled by AISNSW. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other websites. Consult the privacy statement of each website you visit. Links to other websites do not constitute or imply endorsement by AISNSW of those sites, the information they contain, or any products or services they describe. Co-operation with Authorities
We reserve the right to co-operate fully with any law enforcement authority in any jurisdiction in respect of a lawful direction or request to disclose the identity or other information about anyone posting materials which the authority claims violates any applicable law.


Access, Correction, and Data Integrity
Although we attempt to ensure the integrity and accurateness of the website, we make no guarantees as to its correctness or accuracy. It is possible that the website could include typographical errors, inaccuracies, or other errors, and that unauthorised additions, deletions, and alterations could be made to the website by third parties. In the event that an inaccuracy arises, please inform us so that it can be corrected.

Courses
AISNSW reserves the right to alter any of the arrangements for courses as stated in this program, either before or during the course and this may include cancelling or terminating a course.

If you cancel a course outside the 7 day period, 100% of the course fee will be returned to you. If you cancel within 7 days of the course date, you forfeit the amount of the course fee. If you believe there were exceptional circumstances (e.g medical), please apply in writing to the accounts department stating your reasons.

If you work at an independent school in NSW and don’t pay by credit card when registering for a course, the fee will be invoiced to the school you have indicated is your employer. A copy of the invoice will be sent to you and to the accounts department of the school. Details of the course registration will also be visible to the School Principal and/or to holders of the Principal’s delegated authority. If you elect to pay by credit card, only you will be sent the Tax Invoice however the school will still be able to view the course registration.

Any refunds due to you will be made by EFT within 14 days of the notice of cancellation.

Course Cancellation
In the unusual event that a course is cancelled only the course registration fee will be refunded. AISNSW will not refund travel, accommodation or other expenses incurred in connection with the cancelled course. Registrants should bear this in mind when making travel arrangements.

Security
The application, registration and self service screens of the site are protected by SSL encryption to help ensure the integrity and confidentiality of information passed between your browser and our server. However, you must assist in maintaining the security of your information by protecting your password and having adequate anti-virus software and firewalls installed on your computer.
We strongly recommend that you:
• create strong passwords including both alpha, numeric, an Upper Case letter, and a special character (!@#$%^&*();
• do not use common dictionary words or names of family members or pets;
• keep your password secure and protected;
• keep only one record of your password;
• do not tell any unauthorised person your password;
• do not allow any unauthorised person to watch you login to the site or hear your password.
