Extending students in English is part of a rich tradition in NSW, offering students the chance to deepen their knowledge, skills and understanding in our subject. Students of these courses write confidently, read widely, and explore theoretical perspectives that impact on success at school and provide students with high level skills for their post-school pathways.
This one-day face-to-face Symposium will offer multiple presentations and workshops from practising teachers, drawing on their experience in the classroom and as HSC markers. Participants will be able to select workshops that focus on English Extension 1, English Extension 2 and Year 11 English Extension courses, including the Common Module and Extension 2.
