Young People and Exposure to Explicit Imagery

The new PDHPE syllabuses have a stronger focus on the impact of explicit imagery on the health, relationships, attitudes and behaviours of children and young people. With nearly half of children between the ages of 9-16 experiencing regular exposure to inappropriate materials, it is important that teachers understand the nature and prevalence to help build the knowledge and skills required by students to navigate this contemporary challenge.
