Opening Address: Anne Hollonds

Anne Hollonds is Australia’s National Children’s Commissioner, a role based at the Australian Human Rights Commission.

Formerly Director of the Australian Institute of Family Studies, for 23 years Anne was Chief Executive of government and non-government organisations focused on research, policy and practice in child and family wellbeing.

Keynote Presenter: Professor Donna Cross

Professor Donna Cross is a distinguished behavioural scientist and Emeritus Professor at the University of Western Australia. She also serves as a Senior Research Fellow at The Kids Institute and is the Chief Behavioural Advisor for the NSW government.

Donna's extensive research focuses on child and adolescent wellbeing, mental health promotion, bullying prevention, and fostering positive online behaviour. Her work has significantly influenced education policy and practice.

Keynote Presenter: Dr Kristy Goodwin

Dr Kristy powers-up performance by decoding the neurobiology of peak-performance in the digitally-intense world we now work and live in. Dr Kristy provides the keys to lead, live and work more effectively for wellbeing leaders who are always switched on, but rarely powered-up.

Kristy shares practical, brain-based solutions to help high-achievers optimise their performance so they don’t have to pay the ‘success tax’ where their success comes at the cost of their physical health, mental wellbeing and/or relationships.

Masterclass Presenter: Dr Briony Scott

Dr Scott is President of AGEL National (2023), Director with the Chris O'Brien Lifehouse, Chair of the USYD Stem Teacher Enrichment Advisory Board, and a member of the AISNSW Advisory Committee. In 2022, she was named Australian Principal of the Year (non-government), was listed on the Educator's 2022 Hot List, and named as one of the Australian Financial Review's Top 5 Most Powerful People in Education in 2022. She was the recipient of the Phyllis Evans Medal from the Teachers' Guild of New South Wales for 2023.

Masterclass Presenter: Brad Marshall

Brad is recognised as one of Australia’s leading experts in excessive internet and screen use otherwise known as Internet Addiction or Gaming Disorder. As the Director of The Screen & Gaming Disorder Clinic; Australia’s first established specialty clinic, he is a well-respected presenter and speaker on the topic, frequenting schools and corporate organisations around Australia.

He is the author of three best-selling international books that have been published in over 30 countries world-wide.

Masterclass Presenter: Dr Sophia Drysdale

Sophia is a clinical psychologist, supervisor and researcher at The Kidman Centre, University of Technology Sydney. She has a background in child and family community mental health and is driven by an insatiable curiosity to find innovative ways of working with children and adolescents where traditional approaches prove ineffective. Sophia holds a Doctorate of Clinical Psychology and a PhD in Psychology from the University of Sydney.

Masterclass Presenter: Dr Paul Fung

Dr Paul Fung is a psychiatrist and Clinical Director of Uniting Recovery, the mental health services arm of Uniting NSW.ACT. He works with a range of clinical and psychosocial support programs across the lifespan in metro and regional NSW, including headspace Mt Druitt, Penrith and Katoomba.
