How do schools reimagine learning? Why is this concept important for schools and what does it mean for their students’ education if they don’t embrace the rapid changes taking place on the global landscape?

The AIS Educational Leaders Conference explores these key questions, guided by experts in education innovation and artificial intelligence, curriculum redesign and wellbeing.

The event offers a practical two-day program that will explore curriculum re-design, impacts for teaching, learning and assessment and consider how schools can most effectively prepare their students for multiple educational pathways and life opportunities in a rapidly changing world.

Schools that seek to embed meaningful innovation and transformative knowledge in teaching and learning are preparing for a very different future that blends technology with advanced skills in capabilities and deeper learning. The AIS Educational Leaders Conference provides attendees with a clear roadmap for schools to reimagine learning to invest in a confident future for all students.

The event builds on the work of the AISNSW CEO Perspectives initiative launched last year, where top industry CEOs shared what schools require to prepare students for the future world of work. The program includes the exploration of how delegates can:

  • develop strategic partnerships with industry, business and universities to offer students real-world experience and applications in their learning
  • gain an understanding of how the world is changing because of AI and how to leverage technology to enhance teaching and learning
  • investigate the strategic role of school leaders and external partnerships in promoting innovative approaches to curriculum design and delivery
  • most effectively prepare their students for multiple educational pathways and life opportunities in a rapidly changing world.

As artificial intelligence and other social changes influence the nature of schooling, work and life, the AIS Educational Leaders Conference will explore how young people will need to be adaptive and versed in capabilities and provide a roadmap for schools to plan strategically and invest their resources wisely. Similarly, it will look at how schools are positioning themselves nationally and internationally to draw on capabilities and deep learning to inform teaching and learning.
