AIS Education Research Council


The Council is chaired by Professor Mary Ryan, Dean of Education at Macquarie University, and includes Heads and senior staff from a wide range of independent schools, and AISNSW staff. Below is a directory of Council members.

The ERC guides in a number of activities to support schools in the independent sector.

Each year the Council facilitates the funding of a number of school based research projects that address salient topics for independent schools. For more information, visit the School Based Research Projects webpage.

The Council also commissions independent research, undertaken by highly regarded academics who are experts in their field, on timely areas of interest. See the Commissioned Research publications below for additional information on each project.

Commissioned Research
