This information session is presented by AISNSW staff and will provide participants with an overview and understanding of the complex regulatory landscape and requirements for opening a new school in NSW.

Participants will be provided with an overview of the independent sector, funding, planning, legislative and regulatory frameworks, the requirements for school registration and teacher accreditation as well as the application process and timeframes to open a new independent school in NSW.

There is no cost for this information session. Each person who wants to attend must register individually.
Dates and length
In 2024, there will be three Sydney CBD dates offered, Thursday 18 April, Wednesday 17 July and Thursday 3 October. The information session is a face-to-face all day event.
How to register for the information session
You must complete the Expression of Interest (EOI) form to be able to register for the information session date of your choice. The expression of interest form is here.
After completing the EOI form, an email will be sent to you with instructions about how to register for the information session.
Every participant who wants to attend must register individually.
After registration, a course confirmation email will be sent.
A week before the information session, a final email confirming venue details will be sent.
