The 2022 COVID Intensive Learning Support Program (the Program) will provide small group tuition for students who need it most across NSW primary, secondary, special assistance and special schools. This is in recognition of the difficulties that students and school communities faced in 2021, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Through the Program, schools will be provided with funding to employ additional educators who will deliver small group tuition for students with the greatest learning needs in the key learning areas of English and Mathematics.
The NSW Department of Education identified the schools eligible for the program, the amount they are to receive and the approximate number of students to be supported as part of the program.
