Special Guest Speaker: The Hon Prue Car MP

Deputy Premier NSW, Minister for Education and Early Learning and Minister for Western Sydney

In her role as Minister for Education and Early Learning, Prue has prioritised listening to teachers, principals, and parents about improving the NSW education system to ensure every child can achieve their potential. 

Prue believes teaching is one of our state’s most important professions and is passionate about ensuring every child in every school receives a world-class education. 

Keynote Presenter: Michael McQueen

Michael McQueen is a multi-award-winning speaker, change strategist and bestselling author of 10 books.

He has helped some of the world’s most successful companies and organisations navigate uncertainty and stay ahead of the curve.

Having been formerly named Australia’s Keynote Speaker of the Year, Michael has been inducted into the Professional Speakers Hall of Fame.

Keynote Presenter: Miriam Scott

Miriam Scott is a secondary educator specialising in Digital Education and Business, with a passion for integrating the use of technology into the mainstream learning experience. 

Miriam has spearheaded the Digital Access Pass initiative, a program designed to educate students on safe, responsible, and ethical behaviour when engaging with the online environment. Additionally, she champions the participation of women in education through her role on the executive of the Association of Women Educators.

Keynote Presenter: Professor Matt Bower

Matt Bower is a professor in the School of Education at Macquarie University, who specialises in the innovative use of technology for learning purposes. 

He is particularly interested in how contemporary technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, augmented reality, virtual worlds, immersive virtual reality 3D design can be most effectively used to support cognitive development and collaborative learning.  

Keynote Presenter: Dr Arran Hamilton

Dr Arran Hamilton is Group Director, Education at Cognition Learning Group. Previously, he has held senior positions at Cambridge Assessment, Nord Anglia Education, Education Development Trust (formerly CfBT) and the British Council, and a research fellowship at Warwick University. 

His core focus is on translating evidence into impact at scale, and he has overseen the design, delivery, and evaluation of education programs across the Pacific Islands, East Asia, the Middle East, United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand.

Keynote Presenter: Anne Johnstone

Anne Johnstone has been principal at Ravenswood School for Girls since 2016 and is widely recognised for her impact there and in the overall Australian education sector. In 2022, she was awarded the Phyllis Evans Medal by the Teachers’ Guild of NSW, and was the chair of the Leadership Centre Council for the Association of Independent Schools of NSW for 2023. 

Anne has been appointed the chair of the newly formed Excellence in Leadership and Teaching Council for the Association of Independent Schools of NSW.
