Build Research Skills

Connecting and engaging with similar or diverse perspectives can enhance thinking and provide insights about information and areas of new knowledge. The Evidence Institute recognises the importance of developing research communities to support school leaders and teachers in their research pursuits. We facilitate formal and informal opportunities to build these communities, support sustained engagement and bridge the research to practice gap.

The Evidence Institute provides a variety of professional learning opportunities to enhance the skills needed for meaningful engagement in and with research. Our offerings, including face-to-face, online and blended programs, are designed to complement the suite of services provided by AISNSW. Additionally, we offer opportunities to showcase research conducted in Independent school contexts, with a focus on improving student, teacher and school outcomes. Collectively, these initiatives aim to build momentum, empowering teachers and school leaders, by informing their practice and fostering sustainable change.
