Vocational Education and Training in Schools

Vocational Education and Training (VET) is a valuable pathway to many diverse careers which offer young people nationally accredited and recognised qualifications. Using this pathway, it is possible to achieve dual qualifications in the Higher School Certificate (HSC) and a VET qualification in their chosen field.

Stage 6 VET courses contribute to the HSC. Some can also contribute towards the ATAR.

This pathway gives young people a significant advantage as they transition to further studies and work.

VET courses can be delivered on site at schools or through an external provider.
